This workflow streamlines invoice handling by combining AI-powered document parsing with structured validation in Google Sheets. It ensures each line item is checked against a trusted Master Data sheet, minimizing errors and maintaining clean financial records.
How it works
- A user uploads an invoice PDF. The system extracts content via text parsing or OCR (for scanned files).
- AI converts the content into a structured JSON, including headers and detailed line items.
- Each line item is normalized and validated against Master Data (unit, price, product name).
- Results are written row by row into the
InvoiceItemsLog
sheet for auditability.
